Securing a safe, compliant, flexible internet environment across 90 UK sites
Wifinity partnered with Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities management company, bringing secure and flexible business WiFi to MOD sites.
Mitie ISV FM Contract: In 2020, Mitie acquired Interserve facilities management (ISV FM), and as part of this project, we facilitated the migration of all previous Interserve networks to a Mitie Solution.
We swiftly fixed parts of the network that needed attention and installed future-proof networks in 73 locations across the UK, from BBC Media City Lancashire to NHS Enniskillen Hospital.
Mitie Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) 7-year Contract: We rapidly set up a next-generation firewall solution in 16 of their FDIS sites across Scotland and N. Ireland and recently provided them with a solution in Gibraltar and one of the US visiting forces sites in the UK.
The Successes
During all these projects, we rapidly deployed a team to collaborate and support MITIE’s’ connectivity in the shortest time, whilst the new contracts and classified documents were completed, and audited through the MOD SCIDA.
