Project Overview
More than 10,000 military staff performed their “last duty” to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth during the state funeral
All service personnel performed their personal and combined duties to the highest professional standards.
Wifinity proudly supported Operation BRIDGE. We delivered critical WiFi for MOD Feltham and provided reliable connectivity at other military locations across London and the South East, extending the wider MOD Feltham connectivity work across the region.
The success
With less than 48 hours notice, Wifinity sent a team of installation engineers to MOD Feltham. They worked for two days to install the full service before the first personnel arrived at the forward mounting base.
In total, the team fitted six large buildings with WiFi. The work was technically challenging because the site was busy and fully operational.
The WiFi service was high speed and very easy to access. It allowed service personnel to stay in touch with family and friends while moving through the forward mounting base.
The WiFi service also enabled them to keep updated and connected to their MOD issued devices.

Wifinity is proud to have supported Navy Army and Air Force personnel as they carried out their duties during this memorable and historic occasion.
