Overview
Sovereign Network Group (SNG) has extended its partnership with Wifinity through a new five-year agreement to upgrade connectivity across its housing portfolio.
The programme focuses on improving consistency of resident connectivity through WiFi 6 deployment, updated in-room design and a more standardised delivery model.
The challenge
SNG operates across a varied housing portfolio, where:
- Infrastructure includes a mix of cabling standards
- Older infrastructure is present across some locations
- Performance can differ between homes and multi-room settings
SNG required a more consistent and manageable approach to connectivity across its schemes.
The solution
Wifinity is delivering a managed connectivity service across SNG properties, including:
- Deployment of WiFi 6 access points from Ruckus Networks
- In-room design improvements to support coverage and performance
- Site surveys, network design and installation
- Reuse of existing cabling where possible
- Upgrades and alignment of older infrastructure and mixed cabling standards
The programme is delivered under a framework that allows SNG to extend the same approach to additional locations over time.
