Do I need to be home during the installation?
Yes, it’s essential to have someone over the age of 18 present during the installation. The installation engineer will need access to your property and will need to ask you some questions about where you would like to have your termination point installed.
How long does a fibre broadband installation typically take?
Typically, installations can take around 2 hours, but in some cases, they can be longer. This can depend on factors such as the complexity of the fibre installation and the amount of work required.
How fast is the service?
On the Wifinity sign up page you will notice a speed checker. You can use this to check your speeds before buying a plan when you’re on site. Please note that if you’re buying a subscription through the Wifinity.co.uk/get-online page there isn’t a speed checker available.
What are the download and upload speeds?
The Wi-Fi service is capable of: Residents: 30Mbps download and 5Mbps upload Guest: 2Mbps download and 2Mbps upload
