A speed test shows us how fast your device is receiving and sending data on the network. This helps us check whether slow speeds are affecting your connection. You can do this on a phone, tablet, or laptop.
Important
You only need to run this test once. Please stay as close to your access point or router as possible and close other apps or downloads while the test is running.
Step 1: Open Speedtest by Ookla
Choose one of the following options:
- Visit Speedtest by Ookla in your web browser (www.speedtest.net)
- Download the Speedtest by Ookla app from your device’s app store
Step 2: Run the test
- Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi (not mobile data)
- Open Speedtest by Ookla
- Tap or click Go
- Wait for the test to complete
The test will show your download speed, upload speed, and ping.
Step 3: Send us the results
- Take a screenshot of the results screen
- Make sure the download, upload, and ping are visible
- Upload or attach the screenshot as instructed
