Android Devices

If you are encountering frequent disconnections, it could be due to the Private Wi-Fi address setting being enabled. You can confirm this by checking if there is a caution triangle next to your device name in Device Management. To disable this setting, please refer to the instructions provided in the “Adding a Tablet or Smartphone” guide.

Android 10 and later

Turn off your Randomised MAC by going to settings:

Use the Device/Phone Tablet MAC address on the device and then add the MAC address to your account.

Android Phone:

Depending on your device version, attempt to follow one set of instructions listed below:

1. On the Home screen, tap the Menu button and go to Settings.
2. Tap About Phone.
3. Tap Status.
4. Scroll down to see your WiFi MAC address.

Or

1. On the Home screen, tap the Menu button and go to Settings.
2.Tap About Phone.
3. Tap Hardware information.
4. Scroll down to see your WiFi MAC address.

Or

1. On the Home screen, press the Menu key and select Settings.
2. Now select Wireless and network.
3. Select WiFi Settings. You will find the MAC address under the Advanced section.

Android Tablet:

To locate the MAC Address of your Android tablet, follow these steps:

1. On the Home screen, tap the Andriod menu icon galaxy tab Menu key and go to Settings.

2. Scroll down and tap About Tablet then tap Status and then scroll down to view WiFi Mac address.

Android Smartwatch:

To locate the MAC address of your smartwatch:

1. Connect your smartwatch to your phone via your personal hotspot.

2. Once connected, click on the Wifinity Network again, this should bring up your WiFi Mac address.
