Wifinity and Anchor win at HealthInvestor Seniors Housing Awards 2025

We’re celebrating our joint win with our partner Anchor for Best Use of Technology in Seniors Housing at the HealthInvestor Seniors Housing Awards last week. We already knew that our joint programme to roll out a brand-new WiFi service across Anchor’s extensive estate of over 1,700 properties is transforming connectivity in the later living sector. We’re humbled to be recognised.

Anchor is England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people and has long been committed to enhancing its residents’ experience. Over the past two years, we’ve worked together to design and deliver a comprehensive connectivity upgrade so that every resident has reliable, high-quality internet access in their home.

The project isn’t just a technology upgrade. It’s about supporting digital inclusion, improving resident experiences, and future-proofing communities for the digital age. From video calls with family and friends to accessing online services to enjoying streaming and entertainment platforms, our new WiFi service opens up new opportunities for connection, wellbeing and independence.

We’re proud of what this achievement represents for both Wifinity and Anchor, but even more so for the residents who will benefit daily from improved digital access. It’s the small things that add up to a better quality of life, like connecting their smart TV or Alexa, even gaming consoles and of course tablets and laptops so that everyone can fully take part in life online.
