06 May 2026 – London – Key worker customers in Sovereign Network Group (SNG) properties will benefit from a new programme of connectivity upgrades, creating a consistent resident experience, supported by WiFi 6 hardware deployment, following a new five-year agreement with Wifinity.
The renewed agreement aims to support highly reliable internet access for work, study and day to day online services. It extends the longstanding SNG and Wifinity managed connectivity partnership.
In-room design improvements will strengthen coverage and performance, using WiFi 6 access points from Ruckus to support more demand from users’ connected devices and digital services.
The Wifinity managed service includes site surveys, network design and installation. Existing cabling will be reused to support sustainability and reduce disruption for residents. Older infrastructure and mixed cabling standards are also being upgraded and aligned to reduce any difference in performance across the homes and multi-room settings in the SNG key worker portfolio.
SNG will create a simpler operating model delivered under a framework that gives SNG the option to extend the same approach into additional locations over time.
